For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to art. My technical understanding has been obtained by following a path of art education including GCSE, A-Level, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma, however it is the world at large and the process of living that has supplied me with the experiences required to feed my imagination.

Having studied science and math and researched history and culture, I also enjoy being a spectator of life; someone who loves to observe the world and can sit all day quite happily just people watching and taking note.

My current tools of choice are pen and ink and my trusty computer, although I am just as content using

paints and pastels, my training in ceramics also affords me the opportunity of working in three dimensions.

Artist Statement

I love to create, whether with paint, pens, clay, or pixels. The opportunity to translate ones imagination into a piece of art that has the opportunity to endure the test of time, that can still be viewed and enjoyed by generations to come is a great gift.

I find inspiration all around me, in the natural and manmade world. These influences can range from a pebble on the beach to a unique piece of engineering; everything has its own story that needs to be explored.

My ambition in life is to never stop producing work, to capture all of my thoughts, emotions and ideas in the physical world.

Some say that Art is an expression of the soul, personally for me; it is an expression of the mind. My imagination is constantly conceiving new ideas and refuses to rest until they have been expunged.
